Calvin Moye's Qualifications

Calvin W. Moye is a real estate appraiser, real estate program developer, consultant, and real estate broker.

Calvin Moye's firm, CALMO Realty Services, Inc. provides a range of services including real estate appraisal, the packaging of loans, advising clients about the procedures to obtaining financing, valuing mortgages and contracts, and presenting educational programs to institutional lenders.  Calvin Moye Real Estate also specializes in the locating and leasing of commercial space.

For 21 years, he was employed by commercial banks in Arkansas and Missouri.  His latest employment was as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Services for a national bank in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  During these eleven years, he was active in the development of real state lending and appraisal policies for the bank, as well as being the mortgage loan department head.  He is versed in commercial lending, financial statement analysis, mortgage loan secondary market production and secondary market loan servicing.

Concurrently with the institutional employment from 1970 to 1994, he operated a private real estate company specializing in appraisal, education and consultation.  He performs real estate appraisal reviews for commercial banks on all types of property.  He has served on three national committees that deal with appraisal regulation, appraisal education and real estate lending.

Before 1986, Mr. Moye managed a real estate appraisal firm specializing in residential and commercial appraisals.  Because of the conflicts associated with institutional employment, only special types of appraisal assignments and consulting assignments were accepted between 1986 and 1994.
